Glenn Screech

Screechy has had two jobs in his illustrious career. Growing up chasing teethy deep sea creatures in Western Australia it was only natural he was skippering a vast array of vessels prior to getting his driver’s licence, in fact it was an appropriate Segway into his love of landing Marlins.
Since a teenager, Glenn has been passionate about equipment, valuations and auctions.

Kevin McKew

The oldest Mckew in the crew was almost born in an Auction yard. His family has a banking background but when Kev was a kid, his father turned the snags every week at the local Auction Yard to raise money for the Salvos. Exposure to the industry from a young age, the seed was sown and his love for the industry has been witnessed by many over more than a decade in the game.
Kev is known for his supreme talent as an Auctioneer, inappropriately over enthusiastic.

Geoff McKew

Geoff is the marginally younger sibling, another career Auctioneer and Valuer specialist. His road headed into Insolvency and Valuation projects. Initially famous, for creating intricate, well polished reports and lecturing his elders on the complexities of PPSR legislation - while still looking as though he was in primary school.
Fear not, his numbers are never as low as his handicap on the greens.

Michael Plehan

A self-confessed water baby and lover of all things sport, Michael provides part of the “greying” benefits to the partner group. A going concern expert, his years of finance experience blend perfectly with the youthful exuberance of his showboating partners.
By providing a sense of reason and level headedness to the sometimes outrageous ideas of his team mates, Michael’s acumen and strategic focus ensure the Argus machine remains on-path to achieving its market vision and goals.

Andrew Webber

As the founder of Lloyds Auctions, Andrew has always been based in South East Queensland and Northern NSW. Growing up in a stock and station family he has been firmly attached to the Auction Industry for over 40 years.
Since scaling & exiting Lloyds, he's become more famous as an incompetent farmer of sorts. Sneaking off to his Northern NSW farms to create havoc and lower the benchmark for his fellow farming contemporaries.
The old dog has been released back into his natural Auction environment.

Toby Pilgrim
Operations Manager
Born with a Sherrin in his hands, Toby learned to walk and talk shortly after mastering the snap from the boundary to split the sticks. It was from there, his love of footy evolved into all facets of sports.
From managing teams in hospitality, sports marketing and sales, a new passion was born when he stepped into the world of Auctions with the lads in 2015. Toby built strong relationships in the industry and went on to lead his division nationally.
He decided to hang up the auction boots in 2022, but came out of retirement to sign with Argus Auctions for the 2025 season, putting Argus dangerously close to breaching their salary cap...

Paul Thomasson

Paul’s auction journey started back in 1989 selling Vehicles and Office Furniture for the Qld Government. He became a fully Licenced Real Estate and Chattel Auctioneer in 1993 and has continued to specialise in selling Govt assets throughout his entire career.
During this time he has witnessed first hand the transition of the auction industry from traditional sales to the modern simulcast and online platforms of current day.
He now tries to recapture his long gone youth by running around on the touch football field. He continues to evade father time on the field but there are unconfirmed reports that he is starting to catch up.

Shane Benson

Prior to finding his passion for dealing Luxury Jewellery and Fine Arts, Shane was a clearance diver disarming underwater bombs for the Royal Australian Navy.
Shane has worked with both public and private collectors in both acquisition and authentication from back when your computer needed plugging into your phone line for internet!
Although precious gemstones and treasures are his forte, his favourite type of Gold is served ice cold from a can!

With more than 20 years experience in the auction industry, Amanda enjoys combining her analytical skills with her passion for the fine arts, to achieve the best possible auction outcomes for her clients.
Specialising in paintings, jewellery, and antiques, Amanda has auctioned more than half a million fine arts lots over the course of her career.
A born and bred Queenslander and avid Broncos supporter, Amanda now lives on the Central Coast of NSW with her husband, Shane, and their two sons where she flies her maroons jersey at full mast!
